International Transition Team-Financial and Business Services Assistance

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has assembled the International Transition Team, a group of private-sector representatives, to help make companies' entry into the U.S. and Nebraska as smooth and trouble-free as possible. Having their input from the initial planning stages can be a valuable resource that leads to success in this important market.

Financial Transactions
International treasury management, incoming and outgoing foreign wire transfers, foreign check clearing, foreign exchange spot and forward contacts, international trade services, import and export letters of credit, import and export documentary collections, open account trade payments, and foreign receivable insurance.

Relocation of Employees
City orientation, home and school location services, transportation, utilities, household goods moving service, intercultural training, language assistance and training, temporary living arrangements, and spouse employment assistance.

Coordination of the visa/work permit process, sponsorship matters, employer compliance with U.S. immigration laws, specialized visas including investor visas and  permanent residence efforts.
